As i said man, i'd have them straight off you if i had the car already, but its not mine yet, and won't be for another 5 months at least.Redline wrote:Apart from those ones are the five stud version (5x100) so wouldn't fit a 6N2 Polo without adaptors.Torq-Al wrote:How's about these? On ebay at the mo, 16" BBS RXII's. Same as the GTI only 16's not 15's, find 'em on a lot of golfs. Have a look: BBS RXII
4 stud versions of the 16" RXII were fitted to Golf Cabriolets, and are fairly hard to come by. Although I do have a set currently sat in my garage doing nothing.
You don't happen to have any pictures of that do ya?Rub-a-Dub wrote:if its any help i have a mk5 1.4 SE and i am havin 14x8j alloys all round with a 195/45/14 tyre...they sit perfectly
...as for lowering it, slam it so its about 3inches off the floor, mines like that and its fine with speed bumps etc & look great!
Thanks, that seems very, very useful.Torq-Al wrote:You can't say fairer than that! An offer of RXII's into your lap!![]()

not the best quality...
What is the point in the bonnet bra's?
Just literally to stop stones chips?
yeah im on coilys and its been droped about 110 on the front & 100 at the rear...Brad. wrote:Yeah, pics help loads mate.
How much have you dropped it? You're on coilovers i take it?
Just thought of another question, even if i was to drop it on just springs, instead of coilovers, i'd have to have the camber and tracking etc done again wouldn't i?
And the bra suits your car man, i think it looks sweet.
Mine's silver, would stick out like a sore thumb. But blends in lovely with yours.
Are you plates legal btw?

They cost £250 for all four...sounds alot but its totally worth it as you can adjust the ride height etc...it makes it abit firm yeah.Brad. wrote:How much did your coilovers cost ya then?
I take it they firm up the ride alot?
How much should i be looking to spend on coilovers all round?
I'd want a pair, and my mums bf is a mechanic, but i DOUBT they'd let me have them, would have to fit them on the sly.
That black plate is lovely, bit obvious though eh?!
It does work perfectly with the car though.
Sorry for all the questions, and thanks again for all the help...
