hi there

it says in my haynes manual you should renew the top bolts

did you do this?

is it nessasery?

I did.

It depends how many miles your car has already done. As I didn't fancy taking it all apart again to change the top mounts a few thousand miles after having had the opportunity to do it, I changed mine when I had the coilies fitted. I think in total it was £56 delivered, for all the necessary bits.

its done around 60k,

im going to be giving the car to my sister spring next year when she starts driving so il return it to standard and il replace the topmounts etc when i put the original shocks back on

Its a pain in the ar5e getting the top mounts off. Your better just raising the coilovers up a bit, The ride isnt bone shatteringly hard

i didnt. i said to my godfather about it as he wasnt helping me and he said well theyre in good condition and dont look like they need it so didnt bother. so far ive had no problems with it. my cars done about 65000

not really i go to college and work in farnborough, id rive a silver 6n2 standard height atm with black steels lol

i use2 drive a stupidly low grey mk3 gt on black bbs afew months back

oh well. i might of seen you about as i see a fair few polos about. quite a few in guildford and aldershot.
