I have just fitted my HID.'s and now I have decent bulbs I have noticed that my passenger headlamp is a lot brighter/higher. I dont know if theres supposed to a difference.
I've tried adjusted the two plastic screws ontop but I think they adjust the angle, left to right rather than height. Could be doing something wrong though!
Any help or links to guides would be a great help, thanks.
Only two wires on each. Have found out that one screw does height, the other left to right. Got them almost to match now. Found another prob though. With my lights off if I flash my full beams my main lights come onto. Which flashing the hids can cause damage
Think i've been able to lower both to roughly the same height. Anyone know how to make sure there correct without going to an MOT center. Just so I know there facing down enough or not both point outwards, or is just play around until they look the same and reasonable?
I think mine need adjusting, a friend said that mine were too high. I have the electric motors in mine which I can adjust inside the car next to the headlight switch. but it doesn't seem right that I have it on the highest setting with no load in the back of the car?
Can I still manually adjust them?
Also, when changing my bulbs a while back, I noticed that the part of the headlamp that holds the bubs can move freely from side to side. Is this normal? I thought they were supposed to stay in a certain position..
Yeah the switch on the inside is there for loads. You have two screw ontop of the headlamp to adjust it manualy. Just wanted to know if theres a specific way of setting them up?
