Newbie here, 1.4L .

Post by pablo-6n »

Hello, as the title says newbie in need of help, i have onwed a 1.4l for two and a half years before i got round to this stage. at the minute the car has bumbers from a rolled polo, the wheels a bmw 325 and coil overs from germany. pic bellow. during fitting those i got my hands on a 1.6 aee engine. the head is in the middle of being polished and ported, planning on fitting a set of motor bike carbs, cam etc. The main problem i have seen so far is that the engine nount is in the wrong place. it came out out a hatch back. looking at the engine in the car and the top engine mounting points are not on the 1.6 engine. pics below. any sajestions?

P.S will get better pics of car when the weather here brigthens up. cheers
