Polo GTI Pipercross Viper - Fitted

Post by Jeff GTi »

viper is fitted, sounds great too, for the first ten or so minutes i was not really convinced by it, but it defo has grin factor, and the car "seems" to pull harder too, but this will be confirmed tomorrow on the rollers again

took abot an hour or so to fit it properly, not just a rush job, so fits and sits nicely, looks great under the bonnet too, its a fair old size as well, gotta love the wooosh factor haha

heres a few pics of it fitted,

Your engine bay will get messy with ur intake being opened up now. Ave changed back to the pd160 and panel filter now. Preformance felt more sluggish and engine bay was full a dirt! Gonna drill the lower half of the airbox same as more-bhp and leave it at that. Do u think more air will get in with ur new induction?

Jeff - I agree you will defo get more air in - no doubt - partly though cos you already have the Forge intake pipe... and your stage 2 will make use of it...

and who cares anyway - it looks great ;-)

(suprised you have stuck with that small piece of blue pipe ?)

the blue pipe was to be replaced by black forge stuff in time, but iv decided its not for me

the whole theory of the build for my car is subtle changes, the induction is not subtlereally, sounds louder, more roary, wooshy, not to mention showing off the dif and gearbox through the huge hole the airbox leaves behind

so this morning at 6am a took it off, cleaned and re oiled my green filter and threw that back on with the stock airbox before going to awesome gti at half 8

so pipercross viper for sale if anyone is interested, 36 miles on it from new, all brackets clamps etc thats required to fit it, it a1 condition, was 175, will take 135 for it, delivered to your door

regards
