Whats the biggest size alloys anyones has a MK4?

seen some 16" wheels for sale but would they be 2 big?

17's can be run on standard height although most say steering at full lock causes scrubbing. Big rims look quite daft on small cars, especially hatchbacks!

However, your best bet would be to stay safe with 15's and 16's with the right tyre choice.

hey im running 16s the now, with 195/45 tyres, no scrubbage, butm i havent lower mine yet, so i would imagine with some lowerage it would start to scrub so for normal hieght 45 profiles easier to come by and cheaper, but for a lowered car 40 profiles your best bet :)

Stick with 14/15's? Personally anything higher seems out of shape to me but that's my personal preference but ideally i would advise many to stick with 14/15 to be honest.

You can't really go bigger than 16"s....... without a slap in the face.

Like Alun said, if your going for 16"s look at profile 40 tyres.

ive got 16 and im puttin on 40mm lowered hopefully they wont rub 17 look like ure drivin a tractor

ive only got 14s on mine and they dont look to small.
