I've bought a house! :O

Post by olop_chris »

Hey everyone, hope we're all good.

Just thought i'd share that i've just bought a house, should move in about 8-9 weeks time! Unfortunatly that means my future plans for the ibiza have been put on hold (although i have blagged my bumpers to be colour coded by a mate for free  )

Can't wait, anyone who has any good or bad experiences about moving house, do feel free to share, especially first time buyers like myself.

*crappin it*

Congratulations on your purchase! :D

It's scary buying your first house, I know it put the frighteners on me!

I selected my property because it had a large garage & driveway next to the house, wanted 'project' space! Its taken me 5 years to get to use that space!

Worth the wait & wouldn't change the choice I made.

Congratulations, Bought my first house just over a year ago now and the best advise I can give is if it needs work doing don’t try and do everything at one, then you will end up like me with every room in the house waiting to be finished but no money lol. If I did it again I would do one room at a time. But it’s a great feeling knowing it’s your house and you can do what you want.

Cheers guys, cheers for the tip chewy, it could do with a new boiler at some point and a new garage door but that's about it, nothing major to start with.

Yeah tom, should definantly come up mate.

The only thing i'm gutted about it, there are garages in a block near to the houses, but there's a proper slope to get over it, and my car nearly scrapes as it is going over it at standard height and I proper want to lower my car soon lol.

If i do, it means not being able to get to the garage :?
