need help with golf didnt no where else 2 go

i have a mk2 golf gti 16v 1988, i was wondering wether any1 knew how 2 replace the gear linkage or has a guide on how 2 replace gear linkage.
any info helpful. cheers steve

Funny you should say that, if you can get hold of the wheeler dealers prog when they re-vamped the Golf Gti Ed China replaced the gear linkage and showed how how to do it in detail.
