Just VERY different

Still needs new suspension (Eibach Pro-System), and the HID Xenon kit is on the way

hey tony, VERY nice car (y) most of them mods are exactly what i wanted to do lol... like the alloys, the rear lights and colour coding lol.... just asking, have you felt a significant decrease in acceleration after having them 16 inch Montreal wheels on? (are they 205/45 profiles on them?)

Well, I was riding on 15' steel and now with the Montreal I do feel a slight decrease in acceleration. But nothing that takes away the true horsepower of the car. Exactly, on 205/45, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D2 on front

Been a while since I posted here...

Now on 17' inch Santa Monica and 205/40 R17 Nankang NS-2 tyres (best deal I got, next setup will be the Toyo Proxes).

Also got the FK head-lights for improved Xenon lights.

Suspension also got a good revamp! Now on Billies B8 and H&R 35mm lowering springs with the Ibiza Cupra strut brace.

Interior now includes the VW RNS MFD1 with a CD/DVD/DivX player w/ USB interface.

IMO it looks nice but... I feel I need to take another step beyond! May include Weitec Hicon GT adjustables and BBS rims (not telling which ones

), to take my project from OEM+ to German style.

And, why not, 9N->9N3 full convertion?

Remarkable to see a 1.2 12V 65HP engine with such dedication around, ain't it?

love it , you beat me to the rear bumper mod , i went for a quote for the rear bumper lower bit spraying like that , but then was not shure how it would look , but looks mint ill be doing it now for definate!

does that bottom bit of the bumper come off??

drewbar: you should've got them! They look sweet on 9N's

And look even sweeter if your car's darker than mine, quite the nice contrast

whitegtipolo: yes, the bottom bit is just a piece of plastic. You need to take care of a few screws and delicate hands to take it off harmlessly. I got this idea from a friend that saw such a paint job on a MkV Golf GTI, and look really nice. Had a go at my Polo... and here it is!

BTW, love your white GTI mate!

Sorry I passed by your reply mate

That's the GTI rear spoiler alright, with partial colour coding

Last, but not least, the MFD was technically easy to fit. But I'm still having some trouble adjusting settings; the GPS position is taking ages to update!

Working on some possible solutions, may include total reinstallation to review every step...

I'll keep y'all posted on the MFD dramma conclusions

How do you find the Hicon GT's compared to H&R springs and the standard suspension. I have heard good things about them.
