By centre console, do you mean between seats, or centre of dashboard, or whole dash! :?

Between the seats, would be a major jobby doing the whole centre up to the vents.

Also jsut wondering about the gear stick,
1. will it fit on the 6n (1998 Mk4) (the gaitor and top section) or is it easily fittable/modable (safley) on the 6n.
2. will there be enough room for all the gears,
not a big problem if it doesnt can always make the hole a bit bigger and plastic fillir it/fiberglass it a bit.

Think it will look good if it all goes to plan (Not that i have a plan yet  )

And if it can fit im going to put the centre in from the ash tray and cig. lighter/12V socket down.

Don't think you'll have too many problems, just the odd modification as you go. Be patient & it'll fit!

I have heard the whole 6n2 dash is a nut & bolt fit to the 6n, with a couple of minor mods. Plus you have to change to 6n2 door cards! So just doing a centre section should be fine. :D

I've got a pic, but it's of the outside only, so no helpy really.

I think Alex knows the guy quite well, ask him who he is. I think he's on Edition.

Black 6N with 6N2 interior and engine. He'll know which one I'm on about.

while people are on about interiors, i know the front and rear seats and rear quarter inserts all fit in, but i was also wondering how much modding it be for the whole dash of a 6n2 would be and the door cards, would be helpful if pics of a 6n with 6n2 interior (dash bit mainly) could be sourced :D
cheers in advance

Someone has put the 6n2 dash & doorcards into a 6n & said it was an easy 'nut & bolt' job. Can't remember who tho'!

As said previously, it's been done before, on a black 6N with a GTi engine conversion also. I saw it at Inters, sadly I don't know anything more about the car though. AlexPerkins seemed to know him pretty well though so try asking him. He also drove n parked his car in the dubclique area so he may be involved with them. In which case speak to Haris and Elliott on here.
