Fitting FK Angel Eyes, two questions.....

Post by lolhoward »

I have just received my Angel Eyes this morning but looking at the so called manual i'm not sure where one connection goes. You've got the two harnesses that connect lights to car body, then two to battery then two wires from one light and one from the other which meet at a connection which says ''to the relay''. Where does this connection go. Also on one side you have a a grey & red wire, the other just a grey. Does it matter which side has two or can it be either. Please get back to me as want to fit 2moro!

Here's a pic if i've confused you :?

Without trying to sound too simplistic..........

Have you had a look at the connectors etc. already on the car? would of thought it was a plug & play job! :?

Instructions always seem to make it sound worse!

Surely that "To the Relay" plug would go to the relays behind the dash that control the headlights already there? So when you switch the headlight switch, the relay activates the two?

As others have said.. it should surely just be a straight swap??

Yeah the rest is plug and play just cant find where to place that relay connector. Did think behind the fuse box. Suppose i'll have to take that apart now.

Currently got bumper off, lights partially on, wired in, dipped and main beams work just not sidelights (angel eyes). As said above the relay needs to tell them to come on.

Any body know where the relay is for sidelights or how to get to it????

Doing a quick google. Could it be an additional relay that I plug onto the connector.

Like the one on this thread. http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.p ... =111470&hl
