how big are the holes u drilled into the air box? isnt this the same as the wak box that audi tt owners do?KennyPOLO_Gti wrote:No mods are needed for stage one if u have some cash i would get a panel filter (K&N or Green seem most favourable) and a PD160 intake. Thats all i have. Oh and i have drilled the lower half of my airbox.
Harnz - yes same as WAK box... Ive done the same same for years on different cars..
My POLO has 2x 2 1/2 inch holes on the colder sides of the bottom half of the box...
Now the interesting thing is I've had my airbox out this weekend and K&N panel filter and checked to see how dirty the filter is... and the dirtier part of the filter is the part where the holes are drilled... so it must be sucking nicely through them....
