remap and dump valves . .

Post by _williams_ »

firstly i'd like to say a massive thank you to jason (more-bhp) i had the stage one remap yesterday and oh my god what a difference its made!! its like having a new car again! i'd definatly recommend more-bhp to anyone, well worth the money!

and secondly . . im after a dump valve, but all i really want is the sound, im not too bothered which performs best so i was just wondering what my best bet would be?

cheers

Thanks Dude... glad you like it... hehehe

Be very careful in your DV selection - defo no dump to atmos - the ecu will generate an error almost straight away...

Forge do a splitter DV which can be set to do both part recirc and part dump to atmos - but many struggle to set it up sucessfully..

First thing to try is to replace the whole airbox with a K&N cone fitted direct to the MAF.... you will defo hear some dumping then :-)

i wish i knew about engines . . . !

i think ill just go the easy route and get the filter, i've drilled a few holes in the air box as you said mate, the engine sounds so much better but still no dump!

would you say that would fit straight onto the polo mate?

try www.demon-tweeks.co.uk .... ring them and ask for cone filter that will fit..

no need buy a whole induction kit... they always seem to charge alot extra for a few clips and plastic hoses...
