brake fade
i own a MkII breadvan and readin through the forum it seems that most ppl have problems with brake fade on most of their cars as standard...........................................apart from me,

I've only cooked my brakes once one my mk2 and that was coasting down a 1in 6 hill with 4 people on board. As the cars are realtively light, they dont need to dissipate as much energy as larger cars when braking. yes you have to use alot of pedal effort, but thats all part of the fun with the mk2. on my mk3 I've got tarrox pads and drilled and grooved disks (they came with the car) and whilst they're better, I definately prefer the feel of the mk2 brakes
