passenger has a mind of its own at times!!!

hi, the front passenger side window sometimes goes up and down smoothly then at other times it will go up then come back down automatically, then it may not even go up.

if anybody has a solution for this problem or the cause will be a gereat help.

my window has done this before not so offen as yours though

i think its the safety sensor thats a bit sticky due to ageing

i know that if the safety sensor is activated it disables the window from operating for about 5 seconds on most cars

havent really got a solution though sorry mate

other than giving it a good clean below or changin the motor

Thats a sign of your window regulator failing. The only way to fix it is to have it out and replace it, or to have it out and lube it all up.
