Nice starter, for idea's I reckon clear indicators all round, 16v/mk5 rear lights, some other alloys (although i'm not keen on those, others may think different), colour code handles and slam it

Nobody likes red drums of power, black FTW. Also hides the rusty drums and makes it less obvious.

I wouldn't even go into the hassle of cans, just scuff up with some light wet and dry, mask off the surrounding area and then take some black hammerite smooth on it

Paint 'em. Get better coverage & thicker coat, plus you're not going to get close enough to see the brush strokes (if any!) so why spray & have to mask a bigger area!

hydraulics then

i got my drums painted gloss black and standing up u cant see the brush strokes as there arnt really any. it kinda smooths itself outand can get a even coat with painting which means u cant see the dings and stuff from removing the rust.

wat about painting the b pillars (the vertical bits inbetween the front and rear window) and black wing mirrors..... can do both urself. mirrors are better if u take them of the car and b pillars, make sure u cover the rest of the car up.
