Hi folks, right im wanting to install two blue LED/Neon tubes under the dash at the footwells but i don't know what to really do...I could probably get it connected to the battery etc but how do i create a switch? I have a 1.0 6N2 Polo & it has plenty of available buttons not getting used (just beside the lighter socket) but i don't know if you can connect the tubes to one of those empty switches?

You can get a plain black switch from Maplin and set it into one of the blanks.
Or to keep the original look, you could investigate rewiring another switch (e.g. an ESP or cloth roof switch). It might also be possible to rewire a heated seat control wheel, allowing you to adjust the brightness of your lights
