im getting one as soon as i have the money i think they look sweet and after the other days experience of new road laying driving and the effect on my bonnet i think it will actually have purpose as well as looking cool

I'm not going to lie, I think they look tat but they are there for the purpose and not for looks. They stop stone chips from hitting directly onto the paint which means (especially after a respray) that the paint is safe. If you're interested in buying one, there is a group buy in the for sale section :wink:

I agree. Cant stand the look but they do the job. I understand when you see one on a mint car but I hate it when you see them on complete bangers.

Same here, very much a 'marmite' thing. Only good for show cars, pretty pointless for day to day use, can't really leave on for long as dust & grit gets behind & creates micro-scratches & abrasions that can start to go quite deep if left.

Sorry, but not for me! :lol:
