It prob just as good as the 007p forge valve, but i preffere the forge item as the APR has a diaphragm like the standard bosch item, and i had a forge splitter too but the 007p is the best by far when fitted the correct way round!

Forge item is a lovely looking piece of kit - just open the box when it arrives and you'll get excited..

and it fits perfectly... without fuss....

remove airbox and put cone filter on and you hear some dumping...

DO NOT BE TEMPTED to fit "dump to atmos" for more noise - the car will not work properly...

I got mine at the time because it didn't need servicing etc and no one else was using one. From what I have heard it responds quicker than the Forge item...probably only marginal.

i run the apr r1 valve and can confirm that it reacts noticably faster, and the fit and forget technology makes it a winner too, its also smaller than the forge one and has cured my boost surge issues of on off on off feeling in acceleration from low revs when giving it some

this was because the piston was unable to hold the boost firmly and kept opening slightly, making me lose boost then have to build it back up, the diaphram valve only loses boost and dumps when you let off acceleration, not in between

it also aids faster boost correction, so if you let off then need to put your toe back in, you dont get lag, just good hard boost straight away again

defo an advantage item over the forge piece having tried both, and looks more classy too i think
