It will. The milltek pipe on my car is also listed as same part for Ibiza.

Well went to exhaust place after work and gettin a 2.5" down pipe and sports cat for £170 + VAT! :D

When lookin at the cat thats in the now why is the probe before the cat and not after? Thot the probe on the downpipe would measure whats goin in and have one AFTER the cat that measures whats goin out? Then then the ECU measures the difference? :?

Kenny thats cheap - £170 for 2.5" with sports cat... U sure they understand what you want...

Usually a good hi-flow cat is £150-200 on its own ?????

@Kenny i had the same question, but with all the Milltek exhaust system from a Ibiza 1.8T. I mailed the guys from Milltek and they said the exhaust system will fit with some adjustments, but fitting the exhaust will cause the engine to work incorrectly. They advised me to wait until november, when they will release their Polo GTi exhaust.

this is their entire mail:

"Hi

Many thanks for your interest in Milltek Sport products . The system for the Seat Ibiza FR 1.8T is very close to fitting your car but is not absolutely correct , we are in the process of developing a proper system for the Polo GTi which will be available in November .

Our distributor in Romania is :

so no mention there as the engine wont work correctly

just that its a close fit, and indeed it is, just about 4 inches too long, so the tailpipes need modifying to fit the polo bumper not the ibiza one

like this

supplied and fitted by awesome gti in irlam, modified by ian birch @ pipewrex
