Forge Splitter Valve for 1.8T

Post by monk »

I recently bought a Forge splitter valve for my polo and i fitted it in. the splitter valve works both as a recirculation valve and as a blow off valve.

the only thing is that it doesn't make that "fsssss" sound. actually it makes that sound, but you can hear it only with the bonnet up. when you close it, the sound of the engine covers the sound of the bov.

does anyone know how to make it sound louder without putting it in "only blow off" position, therefor loosing precious pressure ?

i see... i'm thinking of ordering a K&N kit for it for it, but the only problem is that the Polo GTi kit only appears on K&N's american site. on the european one it doesn't exist

anyway i have other things on my mind, so i think it could wait.

just remove the sound deadening from under the bonnet, and get a stainless steel mash cone!I made a bracket to hold up the filter, bolt one side to the MAP hole and the other to the bottom of the ABS unit!
