Little Update: Exhaust

Post by young dubber »

well i havent posted in a while so i thought i would show how my little polo is getting on. sorry its only a small update lol well whilst gettin my clutch done and thinking about upgrading my brakes and getting wheels i didnt realise my exhaust had started blowing. I thought i may aswell do the job properly and have a stainless one made (all prepping for 20vT power next year :wink:) spoke to a good friend at ETS exhausts and tyres behind my work and it was sorted that afternoon ready to pick up after i had finished work. nothing fancy just a cat back stainless system with a hidden back box. very deep but i love the noise just hope it sounds nicer with the new engine in next year!

Very nice, looking at getting something similar myself.

If you don't mind me asking; how much did it set you back?

@Tim- Cheers dude

@Oversteer- Cheers mate! I would go for a system of some sort as i can tell my revs are smoother going through to the red and picks up alot better. Still flat spots but im not bothered as the engines coming out next year! It was a very good mate that did it for me so £260 was put on the recipt for lifetime garrenty purposes but i put £100 in his hand :wink:

Cheers for the comments hopefully wheels will be coming over winter! :lol:

I have a Powerflow system to a similar spec. My tailpipe was like yours at first but the tone was waaaay too deep and kept setting car alarms off if I blipped the throttle :shock: so it was changed to be more like the standard exit, two U-bends welded together to form a sort of S shape :)
