Spoiler light wiring help

Post by Andy1.6 »

Having put off wiring up my spoiler light I really need to get it done now before the MOT.

Ive managed to get it out of the boot and through the wiring tube bit but I could do with a few pointers in how to get it down through the piller and how to splice it into the brake lights.

Any help much appreciated!

I just went to maplins and bought some little blue clippy things and what you do is put the Brake wire through it and the wire you want to splice in there and then close the clip. The clip has a metal plate in it what chops in to the wire slightly and also chops in to the spoiler ones wire at the same time, making a connection and hey presto there you go a working light :P
