Tried contacting the fleabay seller twice but he appears to be ignoring me
....So the front end still looks unfinished and it looks like I may have to go through a long drawn-out battle to get a refund.
Today I discovered 3 lovely scratches on my passenger door from where a vivaro van (from work) has opened its door against it.
Looks as though the door has swung open pushing the panel in a bit and bedding into the plastic bump-strip.
They must've known they'd done it as they would've had to tug the door a bit back out.
Really annoyed me as i'm good mates with all the guys there and they know how much I love my polo. They were obviously too gutless to tell me even though it would've gone on the company insurance anyway!
SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE??!!
Next action is to see if my boss will help me to cover the cost. I have a friend who used to work in a bodyshop and he suggested it may be cheaper and quicker to try and get hold of a replacement bump strip and then get a 'chips-away' type company to tidy up the other two marks.
(silver-lining may be that I have a couple of bonnet stone chips that need doing too)
Oh well, grumble over....I almost feel a little better!
