HELP ARE ANGEL EYES LEGAL?

Post by DavidFletcher1988 »

 Help! passed me driving test yesterday, so in the afternoon got my angels eyes fitted there black and i brought them from eBay and it said were road legal. Rang up a local Dub specialist and he said ye i can do it 50quid, thought ye whatever sound drop the car off has a look at the lights ye says OK. Go to collect the car then he says u do no these aren't road legal because the beam shines slightly onto the pavement. So this put the s**t up me thinking gonna get pulled over and fail my m.o.t etc Is it just adjustment? has anyone else had this problem passing a m.o.t? Please any response will be appreciated . :D

They should be adjustable so should be fine. The likiness of getting pulled for something like that is very slim if they're not ridiculous anyway.

But to be honest, I'd be more put off by the look of them, not they're functionality! Stick to the OEM ones and get a HID retro fir kit 8)

They are not illegal by any means. As long as the beams are correctly adjusted, they are just as legal as any headlight

i got angel eyes on my car to. the beam shining to the pavement, are they set up for right hand drive cars? little lever on the back of the light unit with the letters rh and lh i thiink i did this on my car and now theyre going straight ish. gotta get the beam allignment done as i think theyre to down.

as for the brightness, i thought they were crap to so i brought some really bright light bulbs to change and hopefully theyll sort the problem out. only got the dipped beams for now and if im happy then i'll get the full beam bulbs as well.

so far not been pulled for them either and had them on a fair while.
