So you eventually bought the monster i see....a nice wee clean up here and there and she will be a serious piece of kit!!!!

See you have a nice wee "to do" list going on already  you thought bout giving Forge a bell regarding a filter as i am running one i got from them and it was pretty cheap too

sounds like your having some fun

the low boost was probbaly what was causing your dump noise to be low and gassy!!!

whats it like when you crank up the boost then??

yeah its got alot more whoosy sounds now....but still very low & gassy....i'm gonna check the pipes when i get the chance....its fooking quick....on low boost I think its probably about the same speed as my old one (250bhp), less kick between 3-5k but the power doesnt tail off & is constant all the way to 8k, whereas in the k03s i would change gear at 5.5 as there was no puff left

but on high it wheel spins in 3rd in the bone dry with warm tyres...i'll definately get a video up soon as i've got a few of my old cupra to try and compare. The power delivery is later but 3rd & 4th feel like 2nd in the k03s...and even in 5th at 100 you floor it and the car screams....very different sound!!

I did some research and when the kit was refitted in late octoboer 06 the owner asked for a more conservative map because the exhaust housinghad cracked under pressure (and replaced),
it was previously dyno'd at 363bhp but after the new map jabba said its probably more like 330-340 to make it more reliable...So at some point when the conrods & valves are in i'll go back to jabba and tell them to stop pussy footing around & turn back so it gives all its got!
