depends what it is.

you can take most of the stuff people have on these days off within the day.

and aslong as you dont care if it gets smashed into pieces then your alright.

Sounds like it - you and the car might not be able to stay together long enough to do this - or you might not be fit to do this!

The things insurance assesors do, first check the brake pedal, next check all four tyres - that was on my wife's car a month after she had been hit while in a queue at a roundabout. So in her case, two things, it was a month before they could look at the car as it was still needed and driveable - so we could have changed anything, second, the third party's insurance had put their hands up admitting 100% blame but this was her insurance assesor!!

just declare suspension exhaust and wheels anything else like air filter they not that bothered if you try to keep your engine bay looking as standard as possible eg black forge pipes and valves they will not notice any engine work etc! Just use your common sense really !

not being funny...

but how about just declare your mods, pay the extra £12.99 or whatever for your alloys, suspension and air filter, then when it comes to time to claim, you dont need to faf about taking bits off, then worrying about "What If?"

end of the day, 50 quid extra premium, for a 10 grand car?

come on

when your 17 and "technically" not the first driver of the car. its best not to have a 50 year old women with a sports exhaust k&n system coilovers and new 17" alloys down with your 17 yr old son next to you on insurance..
ya nah?
but thats just me.

hence why miens standard

any 1.2 owners have performance parts on by chance?
