Hhmm that doesn't sound quite right, that sounds more like 4300k. 8000k should be pretty blue, it can happen where they send you a bulb that emits the wrong temperature.brad mole wrote:they come on as blue and die down after 10 seconds or so to a yellowy/standard looking colour, i bought the anti glare 8000k ones from hids4u and cost £210.

cheers for the help guys, one last question, does the bulb fit directly intot he metal clip, or do you have to modify it or glue it or something? as i thought the metal clip only held onto the bulb by being sandwiched between the bulb and the wiring block on the back?kc wrote:you need to put the bulb in the metal holder then it will fit like a normal bulb mate

thers a little vid i took last night to show that they do seem to die down to a whiter, standard looking colour, but the video does make them look slightly worse than they actaully look. try skipping through the video to see the changes in colour

i cant be bothered with the hassle, i bet i will have to take them off, send them back and get the new kit, install that again and find out they arent any different lol, they are the £210 ones from HID's direct as well, and for the price they really dont seem any different to white normal bulbs lol, no better vision and same colour lol
