Little Update!

Post by vw-po-low »

Little uipdate from me, Passed MOT ! muwahaha repalced my o/s wheel bearing and track rod end and she flew through. even Wound the coilovers up to get on the 4 post ramp, still had problems getting it on, dads mate had to go round the workshop through another enterance and reverse the dub onto the lift. When he used the jack between the ramps he had another guy lift the front end so the jack would slide under the front silencer, which made me laugh. Yesterday i wound her back down, fronts are all the way lol. Rears are 5mm lower, so im 120 on the front 110 on the rear lol. I wash quite shocked the front did not touch anything on full lock. the rears well still rub.

I'm not to sure weather i'll be keeping the polo. Maybe another 6 months. I'm going older and faster. Mark 1 golf Gti. i've kept all orginal parts so if the car was ever wanted standard i could put it back.

I went to Nottingham GTI club meet today with a mate and his mark 1 golf gti. Good photo shoot so i'll update when i get the photos off him.

I know the feeling, a mark1 polo on starlets keeps tempting me round here. I've beaten the bug for now though 8)
