Electric windows

Got abit of a weird one here

have a mk5 1.4 16v polo

right my drivers window goes up and down fine, but i cant operate my passenger one, but on the passenger side it operates fine, when the passenger side window is down i can use my button on the drivers side to put it up but i cant use the drivers side button to put it down, would this be the switch on the drivers side could be kaput?

Sounds like the switch. Try a squirt of good old WD40 into the switch as that has worked on previous cars for me. Failing that, its a new switch.

all sorted, it was the switch, just abit dodgey, needed pressing down hard so i got a switch from a previous polo that i had and it worked a treat
