Central Locking, Passenger door pin goes down and then up

This is on a POLO 2002
OK issue 2 I lock the car with the key central locking works fine up and down, but when I use the button inside the car all pins go down and then the passenger side one pops backup and all the other doors stay locked.

Does anyone have an idea what causing this?

Please help this is driving me nuts

Sounds like an issue with the lock. If the door is latched, then the lock cannot function - similar to trying to lock your car, when your drivers door is still open.

Best thing to do would be get the CL pump out in the door and lubricate it all up

I would but the car uses an electric motor on the newer polo, also the issue it goes all way down and then up only with the internal rocker switch (central Locking ) and not when you turn it with the key outside on either door has me really puzzled
