still got problems

posted that ive been having a misfire problem- ive changed plugs,leads,cap and rotor arm,but still there? symtoms are a rough idle (misses a beat regulary) hesistation on acceleration and dodgy over run(goes,holds back,goes...) any ideas?noticed the temp gauge sits at 90 but drops if im going 4 a while,to around 75/80

I have been through this problem over the past few weeks and found the following to correct my problem.

1: The temerature sensor was changed. ( Blue sensor at front)

2: Throttle body cleaned with Carb Cleaner. Be careful not to scratch ventura and be judicious with how much cleaner you use

3: once this is done find someone with VGA-COM to reset the ECU and re-learn parameters.

cheers,il give that i go,saw a vag-com for sale so mite try that and see if theres any change,nothing worse than having a car not running right

If the above fails then search 'irratic revs' issue and you'll find plenty of threads lol. I've practically given advice on all of them as mine had similar issues. You'll find other potential culprits if the temp sender and throttle cleanign fails.
