CRUMBS!!

Post by isit_dae »

hi everyone!
i just got my first polo the otherday! (6n) and found out that the previous owner was a devious owner...

i think that a blackbox thingy is missing, its plug had been hotwired between two terminals and the only way to turn off the engine was to stall it... i will never trust an auction again!! the wires that were joined were in the fuesbox area and were the purple/black and blue wires... can anyone help me?!?

Firstly, welcome to the forum! :D

Second, Can you put a bit more detail as to what model & year, petrol/diesel etc.

If you have got concerns, why did you buy the car? Have you got a valid V5? Have you done a data check to confirm the cars validity, just for peace of mind, only costs a fiver!

well the car looked fine at the auction house, we looked allround it and it seemed fine at the time!!

its an N reg 1996 1.9 'L' diesel and i did a data check before i bid and it came up clear, the v5 does appear genuine aswell! phew!!
