got hold of some wyns injector intake cleaner so i can clean tb,just wonderd if the lambda sensor should be disconnected or left alone?also changing the temp sender,is it an easy in out and can i get away with not draining cooling system?

Hi mate i didn't do anything with my lambda probe when i cleaned my TB. I removed the TB and gave it a really good clean with carb cleaner and used a toothbrush to get in all the little bits and pieces.
As for the temp sensor, i didn't drain the coolant but you do suffer some coolant loss, how much depends on how quick you are changing them over!! Do this with your engine cold so you don't burn yourself though :lol:

cheers mate,gave it a quick clean out but will be removing it for a proper clean next week,managed to change temp sender but made no difference,changed the thermostat which solved the problem.now sits at 90 all day long
