Don't get eBay cheap kits, they're appauling and are more than likely to explode on you. Brad it's either the fact that they are anti-glare (never experienced them myself) or you've been given the wrong temperature bulbs. Either way ring them up and speak to them, they have very good customer service. Why are you prepared to settle on something your not happy with when it cost £210?!

yeah thats what im thinking too, i dont think anyone else has had the anti glare ones yet so cant compare really, the site has really good and quick customer service for sure, ive emailed them alot and they reply every time, they suggested switching over the bulbs or ballasts with eachother to see if one still dims before the other (because one does seem to go whiter wuicker and i told them that), so i will give that a bash and see what happens

They burn to a crisper white (which looks about a 5000k) which gives you a less OTT beam so I'm lead to beleive.

If you are still unhappy, just drop them an email and request an exchange for non anti-glare H7s (in a 6000k as 8000k are very blue) and they should be more than happy to arrange this for you.

Since I have had HIDs, I have been through at least 5 ballasts, and 3 bulbs lol....i just have no luck whatsoever with HID kits!

The light pattern on them should be different, if you look carefully. You won't notice anyting in colour, it's all down to reliability and customer service.

You may have got lucky, but I did my research before and found alot of cases of eBay kits packing in, without a chance of getting the money back. with HIDs4U, if something breaks, it's replaced without question. brilliant company!

Fair point. But I'd rather have a product that works properly. Instead of buying a cheap knock off a replacing it however many times.

Am in the same position. I have 1.9 TDI Sport and i cant seem to find a way of getting to the drivers side without either removing the headlamp or enginer coolant bottle. is there anybody on here that has fit a HID kit on this model. If so, any help would be great! :D

just recieved my ultimate kit from hids4u today, began tryin to fit them and just noticed the bulb holders. I really cant see how these fit. they sent me the ones on this link: http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/product.p ... =49&page=1
Are these the same as what everybody else have. How have you all managed to fit them.

Cheers

Haha...seems a little to drastic that brad :D So if i am to just use my standard bulb holder would i just need to make a little slot in the side to slide over the wires? Is this what everybody else has done?

i not got hids because of this reason, looks like the adapters will fit as you fit the hid bulb in them then twist them in like the standard holders!! :)
