quick question lads?

the standard mk5 lights the all red ones, can someone explain where the lights are, as in is the brake lights at the top then normal lighjts and fog

Haven't driven my car in a while, but IIRC its:

bottom for normal,
bottom and top for brake,
bottom middle for reverse/fog
top middle for indication.

Top = Brakelight
next section down = indcators
next section down = sidelights
bottom = reverse/fog

great help lads thanks!!

one more though do u still have to switch the wires around like it ses on the mk5 light diy guide or is it plug and play??

If your putting them onto a 6n then yes.

N/S lamp
Swap wires 1 and 2

O/S lamp
Swap wires 4 and 5 and then cut the notches off the plug so you can turn it around. then plug and play.
