The red paint on my rocker cover has flaked away, is there anyone on here had theres repainted, if so what kind of paint did you use? also any pics. thanks.

high temperature paint of some sort. don't know any names though

halfords do a high temperature red enamel which is pretty good

From looking at it... The original finish is a powder coat...

So perhaps get it bead blasted and re-powder coated in a decent epoxy finish? Needs to be able to withstand heat and oil....

Or get it chromed :p

the above sounds expensive! the foiltec stuff is cheap and cheerful, i re did my accord type r rocker cover with it and it worked a treat!

i can get them repowder coated it cost £100 expensive but the best finish!
if thats any help mate!
other wise use ht paint mixed down abit (cos ht paint is a bit bumpy) for a cheep option but not sure how long it lasts!
