Rolling Road Shoot-out / GTI meet
Rolling Road Shoot-out / GTI meet
So I dont remember a proper meet in a while... well infact I've never been to one ...
So a Polo 1.8T GTI meet is in order....
Or to put it another way... we meet at Dyno and do shoot-out day....
Venue - will be in Middlewich,Cheshire CW10 just round the corner from my new unit.
On - Chassis Dynometer (very accurate utpo 1000bhp!!) with boost, bhp, torque and a/f readings, this beauty bolts directly to the hubs of your car, yes the wheels come off first, so REMEMBER locking wheel nut key !!
When - a Saturday sometime - date not decided - so if you are interested post your available Saturdays please.
Cost - £50 ish per run - yet to be confirmed..
Any takers ???

At this point I said 1.8T to restrict numbers a little...
you see its not possible to fit that many in in one day...
anywhere between 5 and 10 is more than enough...
you see... the wheels have to be taken off... everything bolted up... and then the dyno does a few runs to get everything warmed up, etc...

have heard of these, but never been on one, compared to a standard rolling road, im guessing they are more accurate, but do results tend to be up or down on roller rolling roads?
also, how do they work, as i dont really like the sounds of my hubs doing 120 bhp and the car being supported by trolley jacks??
can they still simulate load, otherwise they are just gonna spin up dangerously fast eh?????
