well owned my X1 for a week now, and can safely say its the best phone i've ever come across! its fantastic. pretty baffling to use, I feel a bit of a grandma usiing it, but it really is a step ahead of the rest in my eyes.
the internet on it is great, just like you would find on a pc, and is fast, i'm on it now!
still got a few basic functions to work out tho, overseer: du know how to change the tone of the alarm?

Still haven't got it yet
. The guy from Vodafone who rang me said he'd phone me back when he had one in stock, but didn't; and when I went into a store they said I wasn't due for an upgrade for another couple of weeks. I haven't really had time to chase it up.
And to be honest I'm kinda considering a Blackberry Storm.
How's the X1 handle YouTube? - I've heard mixed storys that is does/doesn't play??? Can you shed any light Tim?

im thinking of getting the blackberry for my girlfriend, does it offer proper internet functions like the x1 and iphone?
it does support youtube, the codecs aren't amazing but it does the job fine. with the internet your given two options:
true html format
phone adapted internet
it works fine with phone adpated internet, but if you view it in html view (my preferred method) it'll request you install flash player, which the phone doesn't support.
so its just a case of viewing it in phone adapted mode. which is just fine, and loads quicker than html. I just prefer to view a page properly!
