Yeah, ill keep updating it in wee bits with more info here and there!

I just sat and worked out I paid 5k for it and ive just touched 6k for the money ive spent on it modding it to this point... scary... anyone else kept a record of the cost of modding it?

Do u not ever look back and go "where did it get spent" its only now I realise how much alot of proper show cars have had spent - money and time on!!

Not really. I have an illness where I just throw money at my car and it eats it lol :P

Sometimes I do think how did I spend almost 5k on this car since buying it lol

dude, wat was involved for the fuel cap very interested for more info and how do u open it a nail lol ?

Opens easy - sometimes when its wet it can be ockward so just use the polo key... i got a body shop to do it...

Few people have asked - what is actually diffrent on the GTI so ive took some better pics...

Rear recess shorted to fit a short plate, and modded the plate holder..

Yeah mate I liked it aswell - just the rattles and noise got to me eventually - so got shot if it and got the G60's

Cheers - i actually have soooo many work in progress pics - i could make about 10 pages :lol:

Still havent had any good weather in Scotland to get some nice photos of the bodywork I had done over winter, but i have my wheels back - so in May(ish) when i get them on ill get a wee shoot sorted out and get it looking tidy and clean... as for now heres the wheels!
