Lambda sensor replaced, engine light on again!!!! :(:(

thankyou! definately going to invest in one of these, the light has come back on lol, looks like a replacement is needed.

This is still faulty, and the parts company who supplied the new sensor what to come and test my car, as i think they dont believe its faulty :? now i have a K and N panel pilter on, only one out of the two, but do u think i should take this off and replace it with the standard one, just so they can't blame this?

Should make no difference, but its not gonna hurt to change it back temporarily

The part people checked over my car, tried to make up some bull aparantly, but in the end they gave a replacement, annndddd that has now put the engine light back on again lol, think its time to invest into a genuine VW one! New i should have done this at first.

It doesnt make sense how a patent part could keep causing this - it almost suggests something else is causing this problem lol

Gotta be something else tripping it out. Have you had anyone run vagcom through it?

its back in the garage again, for its third, vw sensor this time, will update tomorrow when i get it back, guy at the garage said it could be to do with the other sensor, and them communicating a bit slow, anyway will let u know tomorrow, when its hopefully all done.

this is now fixed :D both the sensor before and after the cat have been replaced now, which is what vw do when they change them , they do it in pairs. fingers crossed it stays fixed, and they only charged me for the part, no labour, happy days [/quote]
