VW Monza alloys on Mk4/6n

Post by Polo96CL »

I'm toying with the idea of picking up a set of 15" or 16" VW Monza alloys and adapters to fit to the mk4 over winter. I just wanted to see what peoples opinions were on the subject? I have mocked up a little photoshop to give you an idea...

Or with the original RXii's on...

Love it!

Need to make sure you're careful with it though! I dont think diamond cut would look that great!

15"s deffo as well! And make sure you LOWER IT or it will look rubbish!

Cheers for the comments, I do think they look good as they sort of run with the whole OEM theme i'm going for. I know exactly what you mean about the diamond cut not looking good as why i've found the standard silver finished ones. 15" or 16" would work I think, and coilovers will be orded this week :D

can you not get replicas with 4 x 100? surely that would be easier/cheaper.

looks nice though

To be honest, I don't think I've heard about those wheels in 15's :? I think it's 16's and above for the actual originals

I think you're right, i've been on the VW website and it doesn't state them as an option. Although with a set of 205/40/R16 and adapters I don't think i'd have much trouble as the car wont be stupidly low.

I think they'd look great in 15", I've never heard of them in that size though. And any replicas are likley to be wayy too heavy.

I think 16s would be a tad large for the 6N though.
