lowered, bumpstrips gone, hey presto!

Post by david burton »

Well, finally got my car lowered this weekend by Airspeed. Supposed to be 50mm, and the back still needs to settle some more. Looks 10 times better! Decided to attack the bump strips too. This took a while as the adhesive decided to stick like a beatch - and a lot of careful use of white spirit... played with photoshop (so not in member's rides):

just got to get the wheels (2 were damaged in the post - waiting for new arrivals). Also salvaged a front polo CL lower valence (black plastic bit) to mould onto the back...

some rial GS's - go to www.rial.de for pics (there's one on the forum lurking somewhere)

they're basically a 5 spoke dished design - with polished rims. mmm
