One is and oil breather and i cant remember the name of the other thing, But you have to put the wee small filter on them, i think they are called breathers. I hope you know what i mean, its hard to describe when you dont know what they are called. This is what i have done.

right the long awaited pics are here finally got my ass into gear

the first pic shows the induction cone with the supplied rubber/synthetic connector which goes on the left breather pipe (not sure wat its called)

Image

the second hose that comes off it, i've left off, my dad reckoned it was just a breather hose which helps warm the car up in the colder months, so i left that one off

So have you put the breather filter on the right hand side one, and then have a long hose on the left hand side (coming from the top of the engine)

When i had a hose on here, without the breather filter on it there was oil spurting out when the car was driven/reved hard.

christ knows! i just followed the instructions with the kit, that said when u disconnect the right thin hose, leave it off (i have secured it with a cable tie to stop it flapping about) i've not noticed any oil coming from either pipe???
which one is the oil pipe then? the fat one or the thin one?

The thin one which actually located at the top of the engine, Could youplease try taking it off and rev the engine a little and let me know if any little spurts of oil come out, just incase its something to do with my car, Coz my engine does sound like a deisel but isnt, and i havent got it fixed yet.

i've left that pipe still on, but obviously the end is not attached to anything, but is secured with a cable tie in the upright position, minor oil residue but none leaking out wen revving engine

I have the breather filter on there just now, i think i will just do what you have done, although when i revved the engine full throttle spurts of oil came out of there
