Boot Light Failure

My boot light doesnt come on anymore when the boot isopen

Have tried a new bulb but still doesnt work....

Any ideas??

I don't know where the switch is either to check that...

at some point the washer pipe would have came off the back and probably leaked into the electrics in the boot lock where it triggers the boot light, i have this problem, something i need to get round to fixing!

might be just a dirty switch... try blowing it with a compressor. it's somewhere in the boot lock mechanism.

I sprayed the switch/lock on the boot lid with WD40. Worked a trick. Either poor connection or sticky micro switch. £0 sec job. Worth a try.

Those microswitches are £15 these days - its horrifying!
