Hey fellas been looking around for a new head unit and was wondering what people thought of these? Anyone got one, or any recommendations?

I've had the last one (Pioneer DEH P7000 UB) in my car since March. I think it's a great headunit. Comprehensive range of settings including high and low pass filters, seven band EQ and a great display. Easy to navigate through your iPod as well. Allows you to search alphabetically by album, artist, playlists, etc like on the iPod itself.

I've still got the stock speakers and it made a noticable improvement in SQ. I can play louder and harder. It does distort once you go over ~47 (out of 60) on the volume, but I blame the speakers. With the high pass filter set at 100 Hz, it'll go quite loud without any distortion. Just waiting till I can afford an amp and some componenents.

Anything specific you want to know?

Cheers guys, I don't have an Ipod lol - was more interested in the USB connection - does this literally mean you can connect a memory stick? as this is a deciding factor for me :)

you can indeed it comes with a usb fly lead so you can just plug in your memory stick
this is all i use with my kenwood h/u got a 16gb memory stick
