Depends on the exhaust you have fitted. Some require a plasma axe to remove them, but if you are confident in doing it, you can use a hacksaw or similar to cut it out if it doesnt just bolt off.

Consulted my Uncle who is a mechanic and he said its never as straightforward as it seems and soemthigns always goes wrong and its awkward gettign under a car and much easier with it up above your head.
And to be honest with college i would have said yeah ill do it and then not found time
Got it done at the garage that did the MOT so i got the free MOT re-test
Cost £380, that includes:
-New Cat (Not genuine VW, to espensive lol)
-New Thermostat and housing (Had gone)
-Coolant
-Front Left Side light
-First MOT test and diagnostics (£53 for the diagnostics! ? istn tht like a 20 minute plug in computer job?) Well it failed obv lol
-and labour

A good deal i hear from most people ive spoken to

Although, they didnt reaatach the exhaust properly underneath the back of the handbrake under the car so i can hear it rubbing when i accelrate.
They said if i drop back i ntheyd quickly do it, Dont wanna bother myself getting under the car tbh lol

Now jsut to fix the dent that my mate put into the side of her while pulling away to fast of my grass verge and loosing ccontrol and over compensating into my car :x
But he is paying for that as it was his fault, i wasnt even in my car.
