Known faults on the 1.4 TD polo

Hey guys, i am asking for a friend who is interested in buying a polo 1.4 td, is there any common faults on the diesel engine that needs to be checked, or normal rust spots or anything specific to look out for on that model of the polo?

ive got mine, mine is around 69k and changed the clutch as it started to slip a lot. just get regular services.. fuel filter... oil changes.. etc

Gearboxes are fine on these models..
But in the end it all comes down to the way you drive the car
