Are They The Same Size???

For The Boffins in The Know,

I'm fairly sure that the 6N2 Tdi has the bigger brakes on them (256mm) the same as the valver ones, would i be correct in saying that. ie the callipers are different from the 8v ones?

the bigger brakes have a Lucas/Girling caliper as opposed to a VW Type II

yes and on my 1.4 16v polo s is the lucas calipers if thats any help Ian, and thats the 75bhp model

lol, I'm guessing it is the bigger brakes cause the callipers are Def different, And alex, How the hell do i know know what all those terms mean ha ha :P

lol i was thinking that afterwards. The difference is in the mounting points, and the way the caliper holds the pads in place for reference :)
