Its reg,

There are 3 varients of that particular colour on the PPG scheme that we use. The Prime, +Pu and +B if i remember rightly.

I beleive we used the +Pu as this matched 'most' of the car. However the front of the car had been repaired before (and an incorrect colour varient used)

The rear is bang on, however....

He wants the bonnet painting soon. If i had matched the bumper to the front end, and later done more work to the bonnet and other areas it would make the job bigger and bigger! And i would end up blending the whole car, just because an old repairer used the wrong varient on the front lol

Its a complicated game! :D

All the best, Reginald.

6n2 bumper strips removed, as per my pics

They are a lot of work to get to a high standard, and i would need to order specific products, GRP filler (contains carbon fibre and stays flexible so the job doesn't crack) and Polypropelene rods and patches to cover the holes etc left behind the mouldings. ]

Plastic welded not just filler.

Smoothed bumpers:- £95 per bumper (price includes specific materials, fillers and paint)

Pm if interested

Were you going for the vortex kit smoothed in Pip?

Jay I may well be interested for that price early nexy year. Mine need respraying but if I can afford plastic weld I'd prefer that.

I'd have to come see yours before hand though 8)

he was, i think its possible but would be quite a bit of work, maybe if we plastic welded the kit to the bumper then built it up with the filler etc..

It difficult because we havent done it before its hard to garuntee its going to last if you get me, prob be fine but will be bloody time consuming to build up lol

Yeh the vortex kit smoothed in is definitely doable. You'd have to plastic weld it definitely, the extra weight would just rip the filler apart.

Would look really nice! alot of work though.
